New Wipe Case Design

I've been working on some new wipe case designs lately, mainly because I'm getting tired of painting the same things over and over! I've still got more in the works, but this is my favorite of what I've got done so far. It's just so cheerful!

I made one for myself (like I do with most of my designs, it seems!). I don't know what I'm going to do when the monkey is out of diapers and I don't have to carry diaper wipes anymore!

Baby Gift

A childhood friend of my husband's is expecting his first child and we are so excited for them! The daddy to be is a big football guy. He played football in his (ahem) younger years and even coached high school football for a couple of years. When he found he and his wife were expecting, he was hoping for a future football player. Turns out, he's got to stock up on ribbons and bows!

When I was making their gift for the baby shower, I knew I had to figure out a way to get some football in there and still keep it girly. So, daddy to be got his own diaper wipe case and diaper clutch. Now he has no excuse to not help with diaper changes, right?

And, of course every little girl needs those girly hair bows!

Little Ladybug

We went across town to visit some friends just before Christmas. It had been awhile since I'd been back to that side of town, so I decided that I'd make a visit to my favorite quilt store that was just down the road from our old house. I was sad to discover that they were going out of business. The good thing was that everything was 40% off! If you frequent quilt stores you'll know this is an unusual occurrence and a very enabling thing! When I found this fabric, I had to have it because it was so adorable! I love the fun daisies and the cute little ladybugs - plus the colors are just fantastic. I've had lots of fun creating things with this fabric! This diaper clutch and wipe case set is going into my Etsy store tonight. I've also made a quilt for Megan and a little security blanket with it. I'll post those soon!

Look what's in the works!

I've been busy getting ready for a craft show, so my desk is covered with more projects! I've got lots of new diaper wipe cases in the works - and several new designs! Next to be completed is a big stack of bibs.

Our newest item - a crayon caddy - is coming soon. It's a nifty little pouch that holds 12 crayons and a pad of paper. It's perfect for throwing in a purse or diaper bag to keep the little one occupied at a restaurant, waiting room or in the car!
